Activating the Full Protection of Your Sonitrol System

Sonitrol verified audio intrusion systems, when properly armed, can hear criminals before they break into your facility. This unique security is the reason why Sonitrol has more than 177,000 documented apprehensions since 1977. This trusted verified technology is unparalleled and unmatched. When you arm your intrusion system at the end of each day, you’re unleashing the full protection offered by Sonitrol.

We’ve listed below our top tips, best features, and enhanced Sonitrol equipment details, giving you the control to easily activate the power and protection of your system.

Using Alarm Codes: A fundamental element of many alarm systems is the alarm or pin code, which usually is a 4 to 7 digit number to activate a facility’s system. Each user should have a unique code, and the MySonitrol online management tool allows authorized users to run reports to see which unique codes armed/ disarmed the system. Schedule a free training session with our Sonitrol team to educate your employees on alarm code security.

Swipe to Arm: Keyless entry options provide you with the ability to control the movements of yours staff, vendors, and visitors. With our swipe to arm feature, you can also control who can arm and disarm your system. Cardholders (or key fob users) can activate or turn off your security system with a swipe or tap at a designated reader. Additionally, the swipe to arm feature is now available directly at the Sonitrol enhanced keypad, which eliminates the need to memorize alarm codes. These enhanced iClass keypads work with the verified audio and video technology and function with your existing access systems and cards/fobs.

Mobile App: Looking to manage your system on-the-go? The Sonitrol Mobile App allows you to view the current status of your system and view arm/disarm reports. If you have an IP or cellular connected system, such as our iBase and FlexIP systems, you can remotely turn on your Sonitrol system from just about anywhere!  Download the Sonitrol Mobile App from the Google Play store (Android) or from the App Store (Apple).

Reach out to your local office online or by phone to schedule system training or to learn more about Sonitrol technology and system features.

In the August 25th issue of the Rochester Business Journal, Regional Vice President and General Manager Ben Briggs was interviewed as part of a special feature. Ben shared the following important words about Sonitrol’s trusted verified security:

“… Most importantly, when we call the police, we are able to tell them what is actually happening and their response times are dramatically improved.  Audio detection helps our customers avoid false alarms and allows the police to make apprehensions of intruders – more than 170,000 apprehensions and counting.”
