Challenge
Creative Food Ingredients is a food processor of cookie related products for various large food manufacturers with several buildings that make up their campus in Perry, NY.
- They had no perimeter security, access control or cameras.
- They had experienced some vandalism to vehicles in the main parking lot.
- There was no way to lock down doors or track employees and visitors.
Solution
Through working with Stephen from Sonitrol and discussing the different options to help secure the CFI facility, they came to the following solutions.
- The customer initially was interested in video surveillance for the outside of their main building.
- Following our initial meeting, the customer expressed an interest in access control as a way of securing their facilites and tracking employees.
- The initially purchased (4) doors of Managed Access and (13) outdoor cameras.
- They later purchased an additional (10) access doors and replaced (3) 3MP cameras with 6MP cameras for higher resolution.
Conclusion
Following the initial installation of four access control doors and 13 cameras, CFI saw the benfits of having additional access control doors and higher resolution cameras. In total, CFI now has fourteen access control doors, ten 3MP cameras, and three 6MP cameras all working together to secure the CFI facility in Perry, NY.
